Wow what can I say. Maybe the best upgrade to a piece of software ever. I thought Aperture 2.1 was awesome but this is amazing. For those of you running Wordpress, upgrade now! The one click plugin upgrade from the plugins page is going to save me about 100 years of work.

Is your template a very customized one? Reason I ask is I’ve been reluctant to upgrade only because my template is so heavily customized, and I don’t want down time if I have to figure out how to make it work after the upgrade.
Any thoughts?
There is a little bit of customizing but not that much. I don’t think WP 2.5 impacts templates that much unless you are doing something really goofy and old school in there.
Have to agree 2.5 is bloody brilliant
as much as I enjoyed it – on the sites I upgraded – it doesn’t seem significantly different to me. I have to wait for a few more plugins to be upgraded for compatibility.
For the most part I agree, 2.5 is a good upgrade. I’m still not sure about the widgets page though, I liked the old version of the widgets page better.

I’ve downloaded it last week but I haven’t use it yet. My 18 year old techy guy said that there’s still bugs that need to be worked out. I’ll wait for now.
